Katie Van Dusen is an accomplished performer, arranger, and session musician from Ann Arbor, MI. At the age of six, she began studying Suzuki violin, and by high school had traveled abroad with an orchestra as a featured soloist. Though classically trained, Katie now performs throughout the American folk and singer-songwriter circuit and is a sought-after studio musician. Collaborators include May Erlewine, Tyler Duncan, Darlingside, Frances Luke Accord, Abigail Stauffer, Jetty Rae, Chris Dupont, and many more. Katie has performed as a guest with many acclaimed musicians across global folk, jazz & roots traditions, and is also a member of the National Arab Orchestra.
Katie began recording for her solo project in collaboration with producer Tyler Duncan in May 2018. Check back for more information and details regarding release and live performances.
