RECORDING WORK

As a sought-after studio musician, Katie has had the pleasure of contributing to many exciting projects across the Midwest and nationally. She is also at work on her first solo album in collaboration with producer Tyler Duncan.

Recent projects have included the following:

Recording and arranging strings for Madelyn Grant’s track “Beautiful Lie” from her new EP “Reasons.” The track was recently featured on NPR’s “Heavy Rotation” Playlist:

Recording strings for the track “Jupiter’s Moons” From Rachel Mazer’s album How Do We Get By, available for purchase here.

Recording violin on the track “Whole Again” from May Erlewine’s 2019 Album Second Sight. The full album can be purchased here. You can also catch her making a cameo in the video for the song.

In 2017, Katie also contributed to the track "Wild" from May Erlewine's Album Mother Lion. The full album can be purchased here.

Katie can be heard on the recent EP from Frances Luke Accord, Silver and Gold. She contributes strings on the tracks “Call You Mine” and “Little Lie.” The full album can be purchased here.

In addition, Katie has contributed to various commercial projects, including the track “Southern Skies,” created for the 2016 ad campaign for the Southeastern Conference, aired during the college football season that year.
